About Swinging Katanas
Swinging Katanas is an independent venture studio exploring, building, and launching ventures across finance, technology, and emerging digital ecosystems.
It exists as a platform to pursue ideas across different fields and delivery models — testing them in the real world, learning through execution, and growing a portfolio of work over time.
The studio is early in its journey and intentionally exploratory: focused on building conviction through research, experimentation, and hands-on product development.

- SK Taxonomy to simply and efficiently classify potential projects for our internal pipeline
Validate
- Initial market analysis, evaluating existing solutions and similar offerings, pricing models and user reviews
- Set-up of waitlist page for user email collection and later email marketing upon launch
- Pre-marketing and interest gauging via select channels (social media, forums, online communities)
Design
- PRD (Product Requirements Document) and alignment of desired product capabilities and tech stack design and dependencies
- Data schema design and structuring for rapid backend set-up in Build phase
- Defining the application branding, colour schemas, typography, and brand assets
- Figma Wireframing: Crafting the user journey, application flow, structure, and pages
